In the second eposide of the Person of Interest titled "Ghost", at the beginning of the episode, Mr Reese saves a husband from a hired killer by his own wife to kill him for the insurance. Later, Mr Finch comes up with a new social security number, where the next victim is rumored to be dead.
As Mr Finch and Mr Reese continue to investigate the girl through the leads they have got from various sources, they found out that the girl is hiding from her aunt and uncle after her father was killed by a killer.
After a great deal of fighting from a guy who is behind the girl to kill her, Mr.Reese has rescued her and hid her in a hotel with Mr Finch.
At the same time, the episode demonstrates the development of the machine to enhance national security and identifies both aspects relevant to national security and those that are not. As Mr.Finch's friend begs to differ with the irrelevant numbers and can't tolerate the innocents who can't be saved.
Later on in the episode, the girl's uncle is murdered, and the antagonist tries to kill her where she is hiding and finds out what happened next by watching persons of interest.
Overall, the episode is worth watching and maintains the same level of enthusiasm and high energy throughout. Considering the action sequences and plot of the episode, it has a certain swagger to it, particularly when Mr. Reese engages in a cat-and-mouse chase and flirts with the machine's numbers and Mr. Finch.
